American Girl Party Napkin Rings Tutorial

As promised, here's a quick and EASY tutorial to make gerber daisy napkin rings for your American Girl party.

When you go to an American Girl Cafe, they have hot pink gerber daisies on the tables and hot pink bow napkin rings that double as a hair tie. We decided to incorporate both into my daughter's party.

Start with a bunch of flowers from the craft store. Cut the stems off the flowers with wire cutters. Hot glue gems in the centers for some extra bling. Next hot glue hair ties to the back of the flowers. Now you have napkin rings and a fancy hair tie for your guests.

American Girl Party

A few months ago I created an American Girl inspired birthday party for my daughter. You can find most of the items I used in my Etsy shop. www.sprinkledcelebration.etsy
If you don't see what you want in my shop, please ask. Items sell out and I may not have re-listed what you need but can still make it.

For colors, we chose raspberry and bright pink. Here's the dessert table:

I made place cards for each of the girls and whipped together a gerber daisy napkin ring. (Stay tuned for a quick and easy tutorial.) I wrapped pink and white striped straws with coordinating color washi tape flags and hung stars from the chandeliers.

For the centerpiece, I created this centerpiece stick and put it in a painted bucket with some star shaped lollipops and paper shreds. I made doll-sized party hats that the girls decorated with felt flowers while we waited for everyone to arrive.

Here's another centerpiece stick. I made 2 of these and placed them on both sides of my mantle.

I covered our mirror with hot pink wrapping paper and added the star. The name banner is also in my shop.

I made the cupcakes and embellished them with raspberry and bright pink stars and pink and white starred cupcake wrappers (both available in my shop.)

For the Birthday Girl, I used the cake topper and a couple extra cupcake toppers for her special cupcake!

The "Happy Birthday" banner is also available in my shop. I chose to hang it on a chalkboard that I covered in bright pink wrapping paper. I love using party backdrops. Wrapping paper makes it so easy and affordable!

Of course the dolls had their own table too! I wish I had taken a picture of the table with all of the doll guests. The doll "place mats" are coasters and their "centerpiece" is lollipop erasers.
