A Tangled Inspired Celebration

My youngest recently had a Tangled inspired birthday party. I had a lot of fun creating all of the décor for the special day. We chose a lavender and pale yellow color scheme with small hints of pink. Hanging lanterns and flowing, golden "hair" were everywhere. (All handmade items are available in our Etsy shop at www.sprinkledcelebration.etsy.com)

For party favors, little princesses took home candy wands and paint sets in little dress boxes I made.

I created stickers for each paint set and tags for each candy wand.

This paper mache 5 was repurposed from my oldest daughter's 5th birthday. She had a Strawberry Shortcake inspired party so I reworked it to fit our Rapunzel party.

I added some paper lanterns to our mantle along with some tissue flowers I created. I think I've had tissue flowers at almost every one of my girls' birthday parties. They're so easy to make and add such a fun pop of color.

This Best Day Ever banner has been such a fun addition to the shop!

The princesses played a game at The Snuggly Duckling. They had to match the ducks to their partners.

 The Birthday Girl's special cupcake!

I created this centerpiece out of a birdhouse and a sturdy mailing tube and completed it with a yarn braid and 3D paper flowers.

A cardstock tower centerpiece I created.

Guests were greeted to our tower by Rapunzel's hair.

And crepe paper hair continued all through the party.

When the princesses arrived, they colored on the tower walls.

Each princess decorated their own foam crown with sparkling gems and foam stickers.

The princesses also sifted for gems, played Pass the Magic Wand, Rapunzel Let Down your Hair game and Pin the Frying Pan on Flynn Rider. They were such a cute group of girls. I had such a fantastic time creating this party for my amazing little 5 year old princess.

Paris Birthday Party

I had the absolute pleasure of styling and designing this Fashion in Paris party for my favorite 9 year old!

We went with an icy blue and black theme. Most of the Paris parties we've seen are pink and black, and we wanted to make ours different!

Each place setting had a menu for the girls to pick what they wanted for lunch. We served croissant sandwiches with several choices of toppings. I know my girls got a kick out of "ordering" their lunch and having it arrive on a tray.

The dessert table featured French macarons from a local bakery and birthday cupcakes. When serving cupcakes at a birthday party, I like to make the birthday girl's extra special. Her cupcake was on its own pedestal with a large Eiffel Tower cake topper.

I made the centerpiece stick and placed it in a vase of white roses. I love how versatile these sticks are.

Here are more centerpiece sticks I created and placed on the dessert table.

Door signs are a great way to decorate your entryway and make a great first impression on your guests. I used this door sign to decorate the Birthday Girl's special chair. Each guest had tulle on their chair but the Birthday Girl had this special sign.

I created this Eiffel Tower for the front door to greet guests as they arrived.

I love paper straws! I think they are such a fun and colorful way to add details to a party! Of course, I had to embellish them with Eiffel Towers too.

The Birthday Girl came up with the idea of adding Eiffel Towers to each guest's napkin!

Here's the special cupcake for the Birthday Girl.

Some of the food that was also on the menu....These were veggies in ranch dressing in plastic shot glasses.

The highlight of the party....the chocolate fondue fountain! I used a centerpiece stick to dress up the bamboo dipping skewers.

One of the activities was making outfits out of table cloths, patterned duck tape, ribbon and jewels. I created this little "closet" for the girls to pick out the items they needed. I also found these great free printables and framed those. I created the Chanel inspired sign. The girls were very creative and had a lot of fun modeling their fashions...and wearing my heels!

I found this idea from Pinterest too. There were no directions but I was able to figure out what to do. I bought each girl a canvas. Then I printed out an Eiffel Tower and mod podged it to the canvas. The girls sponge painted around the picture and added black puffy paint and gems. It was really fun to see how different each one turned out in the end!

The favors were small purses that I made from cardstock, ribbon and gems. They were filled with a compact, hair tie and lipstick pen.

Each guest also received a journal that I embellished with Eiffel Towers, tulle and favor tags that I made.

The girls were all so sweet! I know I really enjoyed this party!
