A Tangled Inspired Celebration

My youngest recently had a Tangled inspired birthday party. I had a lot of fun creating all of the décor for the special day. We chose a lavender and pale yellow color scheme with small hints of pink. Hanging lanterns and flowing, golden "hair" were everywhere. (All handmade items are available in our Etsy shop at www.sprinkledcelebration.etsy.com)

For party favors, little princesses took home candy wands and paint sets in little dress boxes I made.

I created stickers for each paint set and tags for each candy wand.

This paper mache 5 was repurposed from my oldest daughter's 5th birthday. She had a Strawberry Shortcake inspired party so I reworked it to fit our Rapunzel party.

I added some paper lanterns to our mantle along with some tissue flowers I created. I think I've had tissue flowers at almost every one of my girls' birthday parties. They're so easy to make and add such a fun pop of color.

This Best Day Ever banner has been such a fun addition to the shop!

The princesses played a game at The Snuggly Duckling. They had to match the ducks to their partners.

 The Birthday Girl's special cupcake!

I created this centerpiece out of a birdhouse and a sturdy mailing tube and completed it with a yarn braid and 3D paper flowers.

A cardstock tower centerpiece I created.

Guests were greeted to our tower by Rapunzel's hair.

And crepe paper hair continued all through the party.

When the princesses arrived, they colored on the tower walls.

Each princess decorated their own foam crown with sparkling gems and foam stickers.

The princesses also sifted for gems, played Pass the Magic Wand, Rapunzel Let Down your Hair game and Pin the Frying Pan on Flynn Rider. They were such a cute group of girls. I had such a fantastic time creating this party for my amazing little 5 year old princess.
